Account Manager / Partnership Development Specialist (Tokyo, WFH available)
What you’ll do at RCS
You’ll be in charge of one of our long-time clients for whom we develop brand and loyalty programs around the globe. These programs provide benefits to the client’s customers when they travel overseas or shop online.
You will be involved in a range of activities in creating, delivering and maintaining the programs with an in-house team.
Each program begins with market research on tourist and travel trends in both the source market and the destination.
You will identify potential local partners in various segments including retail, dining, accommodation, entertainment, B2B services and more.
You will establish relationships with new and existing partners either digitally or in-person, which may involve overseas business trips (travel restrictions permitting).
You will then work closely with the team to produce communication and marketing materials.
You will be in charge of maintaining the relationships with the partners throughout the course of the programs.
Who you are
Being in charge of these programs requires a range of skills and experience, most importantly the following:
Strong communication and presentation skills in English
International background (ideally having experience of living and/or working in another country)
Experience working in a Japanese working environment and business level Japanese language skills
Organizational skills and time management
Ability to work with a team and manage tasks independently
Problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Market research expertise
Language skills:
English: native or fluent
Japanese: business level
Additional fluency in French, Chinese or other widely spoken languages are an asset
